AJC Retail a leading manufacturer of mobile catering kiosks and catering trailers and supplier of shop fitting services wanted to further increase their market penetration and market share. Blue Dolphin Business Development Ltd a Peterborough based marketing and web design company hd worked with AJC for a number of years.
A number of marketing initiatives were developed on the back of a detailed marketing strategy. Activities included
- Developing a new website with increased data capture and information feeds. The site featured a very simple content management system allowing new content to be added easily to the website. The site was built on the WordPress platform allowing it to be optimised from a search perspective and also provide excellent user experience. - Email marketing to existing customers. The company had been trading for over 3 decades and had a large database of customers and prospects. Email marketing campaigns were developed to communicate a range of marketing messages to consumers and overcome the “I didn’t know you did that scenario”. The companies product range had developed significantly over the years along with its service proposition. Services such as Routine Maintenance, Service & Repair, Insurance, Finance, Rental and Upgrades had all been incorporated into the companies product portfolio
- Search engine optimisation – a range of activities including link building, authority content writing, optimised news posts, ensuring that all the organic content within the site met Google search characteristics.
