There are many providers of pressure vessels and processing equipment fabrication for customers worldwide. Many of these companies have international operations with a full engineering staff who can design, fabricate, and test a wide range of products.

Horizontal pressure fabrications have the capability to be used at any stage in a processing application e.g.downstream, midstream, and upstream processing applications. Typically horizontal pressure cylinders can be fabricated as skid mounted modules or as complete loose systems and can be designed as stationary or transportable class vessels in the horizontal or vertical working positions. These pressure vessels can be made from a variety of materials including carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, or 316 stainless steel. . For extreme applications compliant and lethal service vessel materials can also be used.
Most reputable manufacturers will work with customers to ensure that all vessels are completely safe and meet all applicable safety standards. Typically vessels are fabricated with dished welded heads or hemispherical heads and can feature double wall, jacketed, insulated, or multi-compartment designs with integrated lifting lugs.
Capacities of non vertical pressure vessels can vary significantly
- As small as 8 lbs. reaching up to 640,000 lbs.,
- with a maximum pressure rating of 10,000 psi.
- Outside diameters can range from twelve inches to fifteen feet with a maximum 6” wall thickness and lengths up to one hundred feet from seam to seam.

Horizontal Pressure Vessels So Where Does Brand Fit
From a marketing perspective the size and location of where a vessel is to be used can negate branding as it may simply be unfeasible for a manufacturer to economically supply a vessel to a certain location. Trust, Track Record and Reliability of supply would appear to be critical factors in selection. Perhaps this explains why so many pressure vessel manufacturers have limited branding.
