Design Coaching Branding Design Work Package Example

Design Coaching Objective: Development of new brand/corporate identity to support growth plan

(Within the proposal need to explain why this is of strategic importance to the growth of the business)

Work package 1 – 50% of coaching time
Develop and agree the design road map and support needed to achieve participant knowledge transfer. Agree design audit process to review the current value proposition and how this aligns with their corporate identity aspirations, supported by creative input to generate ideas to produce brief.

Deliverable: Completion of branding audit and design brief/specification signed off by participant
Work package 2 – 50% of coaching time
Coach to work with client to agree and develop process for selecting and appointing brand design agency (if external) or identify how to select the most appropriate internal supplier. Including agreeing the specification criteria, critical versus desirable skills and attributes, interview, references and selection process. Supporting participant with the implementation of the branding project ensuring design process is firmly embedded in the business
Deliverable: Implementation plan signed off by participant.

Work package 1 – 50% of coaching time
Develop and agree the support needed to achieve participant knowledge transfer in designing a new website. Agree website design audit process to review the current value proposition and how this aligns with their corporate identity aspirations, identification of target market and the key messages. The coach will support participant in establishing the key purpose of the website i.e. content or transactional and encourage creative planning and input from wider team to brainstorm ideas on logos, styles, straplines etc to feed into the detailed and comprehensive website brief whether used for internal or external supplier engagement.

Deliverable: Completion of website review and design brief/specification signed off by participant
Work package 2 – 50% of coaching time
Coach to work with client to agree and develop process for selecting and appointing the most appropriate website design agency (internal/external) and develop a detailed assessment process to identify and select the most appropriate skilled resource to achieve the website brief. Including agreeing the specification criteria, critical versus desirable skills, interview and selection process and obtaining references. Supporting participant with the implementation of the website brief and process and participant knowledge transfer is achieved.

Deliverable: Implementation plan signed off by participant
